Children

Music Makers

If you have children between the ages of four and eleven (6th grade) who love to sing, they are invited to be a part of the Music Makers Children's Choir. Here they will learn new songs, learn about God, make new friends and even be part of a children's musical. It’s a wonderful opportunity for children to minister to others through music.

The first rehearsal for Sprint 2010 is Friday, January 29, 2010 from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.

RSVP June Masuno (393-4629) or Joanne Arakaki (455-2011)

Royal Ambassadors

For those who may not be familiar with the Royal Ambassadors program, it is Bible-centered, church-based, Southern Baptist, mission education organizations for boys in grades 1 - 6. It is likened to the Boy Scouts but with a Christian foundation and a missions emphasis.

Allen Malone and Tim Spicer will lead the RA boys. Allen Malone was the RA leader in a previous church, loves children and has an enthusiasm about teaching.

Tim Spicer also taught RA’s for two years and CIA (Children In Actin) for one year. Tim enjoys children and values each child and recognizes their special qualities.

We are looking for a few men and women to assist the teachers. Will you invest your time and harvest the fruits of your labor?

This is the Royal Ambassador Pledge:

As a Royal Ambassador I will do my best:

  • To become a well-informed, responsible follower of Christ;
  • To have a Christ-like concern for all people;
  • To learn how to carry the message of Christ around the world;
  • To work with others in sharing Christ; and
  • To keep myself clean and healthy in mind and body.
